Another PLPO (post lunch pour over) Does anyone actually notice a difference when wetting the filter before adding the coffee? I've pretty much stopped doing it and I really don't notice a difference 😬

It is technically more correct to pre-wet the filter. In the first place, the paper is wetted so that it does not take up liquid during brewing and also to wash off small paper particles. In the second place, the V60 and the teapot are heated so that they do not take up heat from the water during brewing. Controlling the water temperature is important for brewing coffee
