Most of the money based protocols like eigen layer and the rest allocates airdrops according to the amount of money injected into their protocols but free based protocols tend to reward individuals based on referrals... What happened to individual time and devotion into a protocol huh ?

Airdrops should just be a thing of the past as projects / protocols find it hard to give back to their respective communities. I hope it's not too late for em to recognize how far appreciating community will sustain the project itself both on long and short run.
