This won't pass. There is no country that taxes their HNWs' unrealized gains this broadly. But... Consider that Germany, Canada, and Norway all have their own versions of "Departure Tax". This, in practice, taxes unrealized gains for HNWs who seek residency in another country.

If this episode opened at the 20 minute mark, it would be a fan favorite. Was surprised to hear Dan pushback so hard on modern day warring elites. Texas elites send their kids to UT or Tech. Big venture investors in O&G. They own land. Many could pass for bilingual. It's an elite class apart from the rest.
