I would be pleased if you could clarify this please, because l’ve heard different opinions from several people. 

Say I have 100 degen allowance available to spend and I tip someone 110 degen. Then do they receive 100 degen or 110 degen? Or is the tip totally null and void? Thank you

If you try to tip someone 110 degen when you only have a 100 degen allowance, the tip won’t go through—it’s an invalid tip. It’ll deduct from your allowance but won’t be received by the other person.
