Friend, sorry but this scoring system is incomprehensible and is making the task of giving tips extremely complex. Unless everyone follows your advice and then everyone will be giving tips to the same "trending" people, which makes no sense looking at the initial intention of Farther V2.

Maybe an example would help. Also I would rather love to tip the content Iike regardless of that person’s rank I think. Or maybe I do not understand the system properly. Thank you so much

The best example would be someone who has a large audience on twitter and just joined farcaster, because right after they join their OpenRank score will be really low, but they are likely to gain a lot of followers and engagement. Make sense?

Yes. But I see many people have volatile scores, one day it shows almost 1000 and the other day a minus. I find it confusing. And as an artist, I personally prefer to tip content rather than influencers. But this is a personal choice of course. I hope it works out the way you intend it to be. I know you always want to make good things, and improve and fine tune everything you do, which is aomething I like very much about this channel. 💙

There was a bug that was just fixed about 8 hours ago, so the data should be more reliable going forward. I hear you about wanting to tip artists. Thats totally welcome! The rewards system is mainly intended to create a positive flywheel to grow $farther. Currently we're a community of shrimps and guppies who sell at the end of each month. Need more whales who hodl. :) Thank you for the feedback. 🙏

We need to mantain the value of the token and that rquires wider reach, I totally get that part. And also if I understand this correctly, will the scores lead to an extra bonus on top of the points received?
