Piercing the Bay

Located by the Kotor Bay and surrounded by mountains, Kotor is a gem for photography. Sunsets are captivating with beautiful pinkish red skies and layers of mountains.

I decided to capture Kotor at dusk from a point that covers the bay and the city. After having done some research with the locals, I set off towards the village in the highlands.

I found myself watching the bay and Kotor from above, framed by mountains and a wonderful pink sky. 

As the lights started to turn on, the sky turned into beautiful red hues, also painting the sea with red. 

A boat came sailing into the bay making a perfect triangular symmetry, giving me this beautiful view.
