Traveling is a total luxury. I worked really hard to be able to live out my nomadic spirit during a period in my life, when I wasn’t tied to family responsibilities. I did an adventure small group tour across the wild South Island of New Zealand a while back, and it was one of the most amazing experiences I could have ever hoped for. The group consisted of 8 people from across the globe, so there was a lot of cultural exchange going on during long hikes :-)

Thank you! It really is Pelin! But there were also long stretches where I would only be talking to myself in my head and that was really challenging at times. You are confronted with a lots of things bubbling up and have noone to talk them through with you.

I have not always been successful doing so and find it easier to have a bouncing board of thoughts and fears ~ I feel stuck with certain things on my own. I also realized that on these journeys you're not always meeting people and could be on your own for longer stretches, which was challenging to me as I always want to share so much with someone along the way 😀. Even the simple "look at this!" would have been so appreciated.
