Too many times we hear buzzwords being thrown around in Web3… For example… what is Chain Abstraction?? It simply means that users will NEVER have to “select” a chain when connecting their wallet BUT even more importantly they WON’T see fragmented token balances across chains

does that mean not all web3 users have to connect their wallet chain for tokens to be visible?

Not exactly… it means that wallets will display the token balances independently from chains (eg. displaying 0.10 ETH on your wallet without splitting into 5 x 0.02 ETH) And it also means that you can use your tokens in any chain without bridging (eg. transacting with an app on Optimism using your ETH on Arbitrum)

but why most of the tokens we have are not visible?does that indicate that the token is invalid or some kind of honeypoot

It can be two reasons: 1. Wallet does not support the chain where the token is deployed 2. Wallet did not verify the token as legitimate Some times tokens are hidden to prevent tricking users but if you believe the token is legit then you should reach out to your wallet through their support channels
