Let’s bring back the original sharing spec:

Eth2.0 - Phase 2

Spin out L1 execution a as it’s own rollup (or shard), completely separate from the beacon chain. 

Then focus on processing beacon slots faster for the rollups, probably implement something like solana shreds

Beacon chain becomes an interop layer

Spinning out L1 execution would be a massive win for Ethereum

They could take a similar approach to Optimism where OP Mainnet is just one of the many chains within the Optimism ecosystem

ETH Mainnet should do the same and become an L2 within Ethereum ecosystem

This is such a good analogy
