Hossein Amanat, a prominent Iranian designer and architect and one of the first specialists in this field in Iran, who has the design and architecture of Shahyad Tower [Tehran's Azadi Square Tower] in his portfolio, recently received an honorary doctorate from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
