During my law education, I had the fortune of a legal externship that was literally on my life bucket list since I was a child playing Pokémon on weekends at the card shop. Wasn’t allowed to keep my badge but I keep the photo to remind me to keep chasing dreams no matter what.

My law career didn’t go how I hoped, but, the single-handedly made the $388,000 of life-damning Federal student loan debt still worth it for me. It had great meaning beyond soul, and I learned and did so much. I will never forget being told as a 2nd year law student I was performing in-house work he honestly didn’t expect from anyone except someone already there as an attorney for 2 years. This was 2016.
