Hey guys check your yards. Springs here and mice move a lot of stuff around. Sometimes not so good stuff you don’t expect. Bobbi’s spending a few nights with the vet- something’s up, she got into something not good. Vet thinks she may have ingested rat poison but could also be something else. She seemed to be doing better while we were there, but she’s in a bit rough shape. We’ll be fine. Just quiet. She’s got a tech with her overnight and we’ll hear something by the morning no matter what. CSU in Boulder is not far and has a specialty hospital for this if it gets worse so we’re in good hands. 🙏🏻 I had a weird feeling bad luck was on its way. Happen around time like this Base Batches hackathon that just started. 🥲 Here’s here with her warmie at the vet before she went to the back for her hospitalization. Sent her with all our love. Updates soon.

Her roughest was before we even left for the vet. Absolutely out of the blue. We’re doing a full sweep of the yard front and back tomorrow morning. The rest of the dogs are fine. Camina seemed a bit ill so she went in too — she was fine, the vet was actually amused and showed us how on the labs and exam she just had a panic attack (her red cell count was up from a contracting spleen from fight or flight! Poor Camina was having a panic attack over her pack sister!) Bobbi on the other hand had elevated ALT and *Phosphorus* which is a sign of either vitamin D toxicity (ie, found a D3 pill somewhere) or, worst case, ate rat poison. One of the dogs did bring in a dead mouse the other day, so we’re wondering if Bobbi found a mouse stash and ate it not knowing. Her heart rate was also in the mid-200’s where Camina’s by comparison while having a poop-herself-panic-attack at the vet, was only around 160’s. Hoping for the best. I’ll be up all night stress coding.

I literally walked into the vet with no shoes on. Her gums were *blue* and she was very lethargic almost paralytic- as soon as the doctor said she’d meet us in I just picked her up in a towel and we left.
