What isn’t debatable is that we will need know if we are interacting with a human or a computer. And you won’t be able to trust the content you see unless you can validate how it was generated and the reputation of the author or person sharing it.

I see how reputable news sources are a great application of decentralized reputation-based identity. this is only half of what forms "truth" imo - the base. the other half is about being honest about predicting the future. this is what matters for decisionmakers and what is easy to manipulate. 1/2

the second half is solved by prediction markets - AIs and humans must put money where their mouth is. the first half is still the base: it becomes the oracle system to inject facts on chain, which should be decentralized but based on reputation. This is also coming to Terra with Wager. Excited about integrating Verity.
