In Catch Me If You Can, Frank Abagnale teaches a whole semester and no one ever figures out he's not a real teacher. Later when he's caught, he's asked how he could teach the class when he doesn't know anything about advanced sociology. 

Abagnale explained he only had to be one chapter ahead to teach the class.
