I like the portability. Already using 3 different clients on 3 different devices. Concerned about centralization around Farcaster app. Nostr feels better imo.

Seeing the proliferation of clients developed by independent devs and teams on nostr protocol. Farcaster seems to be reliant on vc-owned entity for app usage and growth, don't see that changing. It might be get the flywheel spinning, but def seeing two different approaches to protocol use.

Not saying one is better than the other, just noticed the difference and cautious about where Farcaster as a protocol only relies on its vc-owned builder for usage.

1. Varun and I own the majority of Merkle our company. We have investors, but weβre driving the decision-making. 2. Farcaster will be more permissionless over the next year or so with Hubs, mainnet migration, and open sign ups.
