If the framers of the Constitution could have conceived of digital banking and Operation Chokepoint, they would have added money to the 1st and 4th Amendments.

I agree. The problem is even the founding fathers have become politicized at this point. I wish we could just elect Andrew Yang and move on as a country.

is it not also a problem that people care about guessing what the framers would think about things removed from them? They had their own limitation of vision and they're dead. Irrelevant what they would or would not have written about this.

I don’t think it’s irrelevant. They had a clean slate when drafting the constitution & were afforded the chance to reimagine society. It’s this perspective that I think is so interesting & one that we have to work to imagine because we were born with the rules already set. 1st principles perspectives = important

they weren't able to imagine black people as free. This county speeds an unusual amount of time debating what the framers meant on today's issues instead of governing and debating on the best interests of today's society.

Many of them fought for black freedom. I’m not arguing they had all the answers by any stretch of the imagination. I just think they bring a valuable perspective and considered some of the things we are thinking through in web3 today.
