Over two years ago, I opened an issue in the Solidity repo to disable reentrancy by default. I pushed. I tried my best to keep the issue alive. And what did the Solidity team do? Absolutely nothing. They haven't interacted for over a year. Instead, they're obsessed with shipping their viaIR shitshow (so far). Hell yes, I'm fucking angry. Reentrancy was, is, and will continue to be a major attack vector in our space. And if we can prevent it at the compiler-level, let's fucking do it!
