do it because you're curious - it's a fascinating slice of the human experience

taking psychedelics with these goals (depression, creativity) in mind is wrongheaded imo

you get the most out of these experiences when you let go of interpretation and control and let them stand for nothing but themselves

it's an odd thing to say: if you decide to change your priorities after taking psychedelics, that's still *you* making the decision! It's like you're saying you're not open to changing your mind
