What's your preferred VPN? I've been using NordVPN for a while, but I don't have a good reason.

My partner wants to get a VPN, and I told him I'd research for him. This is me researching for him 🤡

I was super pro vpn, then something switched.

Ads and wording are also always super deceptive around VPNs

I've been quite ignorant with my VPN selection (mainly because I didn't care that much). Heard bad opinions about Nord, but I didn't know about this breach.

Was this event what switched you? Or is there another reason why you don't see a need for VPNs?

I tried to let a creator know who had huge Nord ad placements in their videos what happened with the breach and that they should re-evaluate promoting Nord and got back something along the lines of "well, they pay us to promote their product and we don't want to jeopardize our relationship with them"
