how is this self custody if i dont have the seed & cant exit without you guys signing?

It’s a non custodial solution that is the right option for folks who want convenience and control, moving to full private key or hardware wallet trades some of that convenience for more control. That said, we are exploring the ability to export the full key for users who eventually want that control

i want to use this badly but its the worst of both worlds imo

my hesitation is stated above. coinbase can be compelled to stop signing my transactions and as a result my funds can be bricked. the point here is to give easy onboarding with the option to exit.. you arent giving the option to exit at all and thus its more bait into custodial risk than true self custody imo.

Would love to hear feedback on what your hesitations are! It may not be the right solution for everyone but we believe its an important tool to onboard users to web3 with less complexity. There may also be a multi wallet world where users store assets across solutions depending on their risk/convenience needs.
