Rho Markets exploited explanation: Rho Markets, a protocol forked from CompoundV2 and native to Scroll, got hit for $7.6M on July 16th because of a misconfiguration in the BTC and ETH oracle prices. Basically, it meant that 1 ETH was valued at $65,000, letting users borrow other assets at 18 times more than they should have been able to. 😅 Fortunately, the exploiter sent an on-chain message explaining the vulnerability and returned all the money to Rho Markets. Now Rho Markets is back online. But what about user confidence?
