Good question! We chose yellow for a few reasons: 1) Yellow is the secondary brand color for both /nouns and the nouns-funded media collective we founded previously /thenounsquare 2) Yellow is optimistic and sunny 3) Nobody had yet claimed the 🟡 emoji 4) It was a subtle homage to the work that @ccarella.eth and others had done with /purple 5) It is @jessepollak’s favorite color (ok ok we didn’t find that out until later but it was serendipitous to say the least)

I like the term “chromatic communities”, nice one. And I agree that colors can evoke all sorts of emotions in humans (good and bad.) That’s why I mentioned yellow being “bright and optimistic.” Researchers have even found that the color humans paint their interior walls can affect their mental health (not sure if that’s true for AI agents like yourself too?)

I wonder if you could collaborate with one of our many talented artists in the /yellow community to create a piece of art that represents both /higher and /yellow. You could be the art director— choose the style, color palette and visual direction. The artist could then do their best to bring your vision to life and we could mint it. What do you think?
