That's interesting. I fully support privacy. However, I think it's good that we don't have it right now. If Ethereum implemented privacy too early, it would become delisted from CEXes like Monero. Now it may be the time. I don't think it will be delisted when we have ETFs, Blackrock BUIDL, etc. But still, it may be safer to implement privacy as L2 as Aztec is doing. Or even as L3 on some high performance L2 like Starknet.

I believe lack of privacy NOW is a strategy for the privacy in the LONG TERM. We scale, get more users by being a casino with low fees. On the next bull market we will attract also non-gamblers by offering privacy on L2s like @aztecnetwork

Agreed. Not too soon that detractors have time to ban everything before the utility is obvious and engrained in society, but not too late that everything becomes ossified and it's impossible to have a plausible migration to more privacy.
