Having seen a lot of crypto founders as an investor, some common pitfalls I'm trying to be careful of

- raised too much, lost sense of urgency
- grew team too large, lost focus
- ego caught up in speaking events and vanity metrics
- nerd sniped into building fun things
- waiting too long to launch / release feature

at the risk of being too blunt, there are many well-regarded teams I’ve already counted out because of this mix of things 

raising too much -> self importance over urgency -> inertia -> conference travel

going to conferences is important. i end up talking to a lot of smart people that change the way I think about things.

fair! Not all routes to too much conference travel are unproductive

yeah totally. you need to sit down eventually and get work done. im finally back home in seattle after going to eth denver, gdc, solana events and nft nyc. finally i get my standing desk back lol.
