It exposes cultural baggage and expectations about drinking. It still feels weird to drink one during the workday or in front of a colleague. It reveals that a lot of the act of drinking is just ritual. And I expect to feel full but just get refreshed and hydrated. These cultural hangups may be for Americans only, not sure Parisians suffer from them.
