Should FarCon become a DAO? 

Security Council style board to decide where FarCon will be. Proposals to host FarCon should be transparent, with a public commenting period, ultimately letting a small trusted core to make the decision. 

Maybe also having smaller FarCons in smaller cities throughout the year?

Hot take: Merkle should run the flagship event — the community narrative is nice and kumbaya but doesn’t purchase anything 

Not diminishing Ted or Emma’s efforts because they both crushed it, but the event needs to be a beacon for people outside of the industry to attend (like Solana Breakpoint)

FarCon needs to fork

1. we need one event that's uncapped and meant to showcase farcaster to the rest of the world. goal would be to bring people in. i.e what alchemy guy was expecting. 

2. we also need at least 1 event that's more similar to last year and this year's farcons where the goal is to bring social network's URL formed friendships to IRL.

(1) should be merkle run/funded
(2) should be community run. if there's contention do multiple. best to remain open source anarchic than a DAO
