Interior inspo/ lifestyle inspo: when I visited Cesar manrique’s house (now a museum) built into lava rocks/ bubbles in Lanzarote, I was so fascinated by the beauty and serenity of these rocks 

he hosted a lot of parties with friends, often costume parties where everyone crafted their own costumes. They would have picnics in his lava shaped gardens and dance to their own music 🌶️

it wasn’t only his house though - he fought his whole life for the rights of the locals and the natural beauty who were diminished more and more by the rise of tourism 

He was fortunate to have ‘made it’ internationally as an artist but used his voice for good 👌
