why every crypto app will be social: financial EV in crypto is negative: one person wins, one loses, and house takes a cut so people need to be able to lose money and *still* recommend it to their friends, which means only one equation matters: social EV > financial EV

Absolutely, the social aspect of crypto apps is becoming crucial. People want to share their experiences, even if they lose money, to be part of the community and discussions. Social value is the new currency!
