You need to use your Farcaster Custody Address to claim...
And the claim is not gasless so you need some Base ETH on your custody wallet :-/

would like to initially pick address for the claim.

I think that's too late now, the only way to claim is :
1- Import your Warpcast seed phrase into a wallet (I use Rabby that allows multiple software wallets)
2- Sent some base ETH to said wallet, on Base
3- Claim (or give 100%)

I didn't claim mine because the pain was too high for a 20USD airdrop. I hope 100% of my allocation will be redistributed

I finally managed to connect my Verified address, worth giving a try.

Agree, bad strategy from the team indeed, why jumping through so many hoops?

I tried again an finally managed to get access to my allocation using my verified address.
But I had to manually disconnect (not just switch address) and then reconnect and sign.
