According to the @snickerdoodle State of Farcaster 2024 report, frames are not such an important feature for most users. Do we think mini-apps are going to grow userbase / reduce churn, or just increase revenue for infra providers / devs - and prevent their churn ?

> frames are not such an important feature for most users. Where is this stated in the report? They report ~1M casts with frames in a single month.

Page 41 of the full report available on https://snickerdoodle.com/reports/farcaster-2024 The fact that a lot of casts have frames do not mean frames are the favourite feature for users. They are a good way to get Moxie rewards, but that's not a sustainable use case. And the tx reports do not show massive activity : https://dune.com/jhackworth/frames

The dune dashboard shows a subset (I would argue that there may be many transactions originating by a frame that can't be traced to it) of the onchain transactions triggered by a frame. But most importantly, all frames that show my moxie score, my degen allocation, my personality according to an AI, paragraph posts, will not show up there, because they have no onchain interaction.

That's not what the chart shows. Users picked the most important feature (they sum to 100%). This does not mean "frames and not such an important feature". They can be (and I would argue they are) an extremely important feature and still be #4. And if you removed them, I would expect 50% complaining. If you added "casts" to the options, then 99% of the same users would pick it, with Frames, Feed, DCs and Channels getting <1%.
