I doubt is has the secure chip there is in Ledger HW. Also, the security mode entirely relies on your phone screen. One of the most unsafe places in the world. Finally, not having access to the seed means itโ€™s pre-seeded, and you cannot recover from hardware failure.

Not the same chip, but same class of smart card chip with high EAL certification. Could run some parts of the Ledger firmware if you wanted. Obviously trust model assumes your phone isnโ€™t fully broken, but you still have big benefits (your phone never has access to key material) For storing larger amounts I use Burner with a multisig. For offline use you can leverage our open SDK to generate transactions with Burner and an off the shelf NFC reader. Weโ€™ve yet to show this in a demo but itโ€™s pretty cool.
