IMO the channel topic is too wide, and however freedom is great, it is hard to know if what you want to post is meant for the channel.
With the increase in DAU, to keep channels usable and welcoming for newcomers, topics will have to be narrowed.

My personal vision is to keep this channel as wide and welcoming for everyone as possible and make it easy to navigate to more niche channels.

Makes sense.
Having a pinned cast explaining how the channel works, and link to niche channels might help achieve that.
I like the experiment, and art 😊
