It's been a while since @base  launched Basenames.

Some are wondering, how do I renew my Basename?

Well, there's two ways...

If you don't mind a little code, follow the readme in my JS guide for renewing your Basename.

Or you can do it directly on Basescan.

1. Use `registerPrice` in the **Read Contract** tab to get the renewal fee.
2. Connect your wallet
3. Use `renew` in the **Write Contract** tab with the fee, name and duration (in seconds)
4. Click `Write` and confirm the transaction.

Why isn’t this just built into https://www.base.org/names?

we should be able to do it directly on base.org/names i think.
