Midori notebooks are great, but recently I’ve converted to Kunisawa because I like fountain pens and the Kunisawa paper is perfect for them.

The Smart Note is very nice. I have a B6 one as my pocket note, can highly recommend. The grid is a light brown, and the squares are actually quite small, I think 5mm or so which makes both writing and sketching easy. Thinner paper, but still good for fountain pens. Ballpoint and pencil are also great on it.
