Nintendo has confirmed that those sleek new Switch 2 game cards won’t always carry an actual game and will, instead, sometimes simply contain a key for a game download.

Nintendo confirming some Switch 2 game cards will just be download keys? I get it… but I don’t love it. With rising game costs, physical should mean physical. I’m sure it’ll be worth it in the end—but yeah, mixed feelings. 👾
