in my opinion, The splitting of liquidity could lead to reduced market depth and result in a more volatile market. ( I'm not sure If this is what I want.)

This was my biggest concern as well. A thinning of liquidity.

I agree with this opinion. It could lead to tricky situations with liquidity and open the door to FUD if there’s not enough liquidity on one chain vs the other etc slippery slope imo 

my counterpoint to the “it onramps users to base from sol”, phantom just enabled base in their wallet so people have access to base from sol ecosystem but again just my opinion

creating ham on solana has hit my money and probably other people's money hard.
