i would not try to raise from non-US investors, even if you are not American. fundraising process these days is entirely video calls, location does not matter. US based investors write checks to foreign teams all the time. if non-US based investors were good the evidence for it would be all around us (^speaking purely about funds,, great angel investors exist everywhere in world)

huh. and I was concerned about decentralization and simultaneously with the impossibility of raising VC funds, particularly from Americans, for anything net new or decentralized.

nah imo i think you’ll find it easiest to raise from american investors that said, if you are not american you can potentially raise funds via things like ICOs which can potentially be even easier than trad VC process + also provide decentralized ownership in your project
