Nice, drink of the gods! I’ve only recently started so just basic beer brewing.. first batch didn’t turn out as I hoped but I’m having fun

Hah it never really turns out great on the first go… sometimes on the second too… but you do get better! It has taken me a few iterations and I think I have honed my brewing prowess a reasonable amount so that people will drink the stuff 😂 What was your first batch like?

I don’t think mine is ready to give to others yet! It’s just a bit bitter and not a smooth taste at all, think i’ll leave it brew for a little longer next time.. got a bit excited 😄

Yeah I guess just like cooking, the longer you marinate something the better it tastes right. Hoping this community grows and makes us both better brewers :)

Ah yeah I get a bit keen sometimes 😂 ageing definitely does a lot for it, I know it helps a bunch for mead but not sure how much for beers, I’m assuming it would help a similar amount?
