makes me think if some day this won't be needed. at the backend, every dapp will select the chain that's fastest at that moment and do it with a manual selection option hidden in a teenie tiny icon somewhere for high-value txids that you want on Ethmainnet or even Bitcoin network

In most cases, we withdraw eth from exchanges only because we need it on a specific chain to do something, in that case i think manual selection icon should be prominent. (Atleast for me)
