The history of bread dates back to the end of the Stone Age. That was the time when, for the first time, cereal grains were mixed with water and then the resulting paste was cooked. In ancient Greece, the preparation of bread was considered one of the most important parts of cooking, which, of course, had religious significance because it was used in religious ceremonies.
