According to Bloomberg, 21Shares has filed an application with the SEC to launch a Polkadot spot ETF.
The Bloomberg journalist notes (https://x.com/JSeyff/status/1885449521997525105) that if no one invests in this ETF, it will simply close.

This is up there with the most hate i've ever seen an ETF filing get on this website. People really don't like Polkadot 😂

idk who needs to hear this but the market will decide where value lies and if there's value in launching such a product. If no one puts money into a Polkadot ETF -- it will close. People are free to launch whatever ETFs are deemed to be allowed by the SEC
