Not in my backyard, no. A "Backyard Ultra" is unique "last one standing" race format. Each participant must run a 6.7km (4.2 miles) each hour. They must then wait until the top of the next hour to start the next loop. The race ends when only a single person completes a loop. Some events go on for several days. The name "Backyard" ultra comes from the fact that the creator of the format held the first event in his (large) backyard and called it "Big's Backyard Ultra" (Big is the name of his dog). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backyard_ultra My training runs was a "race simulation". The plan was to run 12 such loops, stopping after each and waiting until the top of the hour to start the next. I mapped out the route on a local rail trail called the Beltline Trail.
