Marie Salomea Skłodowska Curie (7 November 1867 – 4 July 1934) was a Polish physicist and chemist of French nationality. He was a pioneer in research on nuclear decay. Marie Curie is the only woman and the first person to win the Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields. She was also the first woman to be allowed to teach at the University of Paris
