About 6 months ago, I wrote a piece about ETH after my dad asked me to convince him that crypto was an investable asset-class. At the time, it felt important for me to reiterate a thesis after all the gloom that weighted on markets post-FTX. https://mirror.xyz/damsondao.eth/hPRhYRQGiCwxUccazSIEwZp1HIW8dxDunjkcHxog87k

I also wanted to establish that to me ETH retained the best risk/reward potential in this industry. After flawlessly going through the Merge, it seemed like Ethereum was finally entering a maturing stage after a hyper-speculative cycle and had begun detaching itself from the rest of crypto assets.

Looking back after 2 quarters, I’m really glad that I had the confidence to double down and foresee that, although regulatory crackdowns were coming, institutional interest in crypto and more organic use cases like @farcaster would speed up. https://twitter.com/TheBlock__/status/1675574023982313472

While I did not anticipate such a resurgence for Bitcoin, pushed further by the SVB and US regional bank debacle, I feel like the current ETH/BTC level coming back to a yearly low once again give ETH superior expected returns and I look forward to the second half of 2023!
