You should watch Severance, basically your mind is severed to work on important and mysterious things for the job and the part of you that exists on the severance floor at work is your innie, and your outie is the you that exists everywhere when you leave work. But both parts are fully seperate, no memories share or communication etc there’s a lot more context in the show to the joke
