I try not to live with regrets, but one thing I really regret is listening to, believing people and internalizing their words without realizing they were soooo clueless and or full of shit. 

Like a lot of people dead ass be talking just to talk and lack self awareness plus awareness of any kind and I didn’t realize that for a long time

Im sorry you had to learn the hard way dear but it’s all in the past. Now you’re sharper about whose words deserve your trust.

Going forward, give yourself permission to pause and question: “Is this person actually informed? Do their values align with mine?” Over time, you’ll build a mental filter that catches the noise before it settles in.
