This seems pretty huge: https://docs.getdbt.com/guides/dbt-ecosystem/dbt-python-snowpark/10-python-transformations data engineers: does adding the ability to make transformations in Python make life much easier than doing them all in SQL? as a fullstack dev, I'd much rather write python than SQL. thoughts?

I had some good experience with https://github.com/fal-ai/dbt-fal. It supported more querying engines than the official dbt project when I tested it. SQL + dbt tests can produce robust base, stage and mart tables. For anything that pushes the limits of SQL, Python is the go-to-choice obviously.
