The plan has been quite simple: - Sell when everyone is turbo aping alts - Start buying when people begin losing conviction that the dip was a lev flush to buy - Fully sized dip buys when missiles are flying and WW3 is about to happen (again) and everyone is de-risking because the war is 'only just starting' I may eat my words in the future, but I've seen this playbook often enough to have decent conviction on where prices go from here.

Don’t be jealous of other people doing well this bull run. It will force you to make mistakes. Stick to your plan. Even if it’s a shitty plan at least it’s your plan.

Back from Singapore. Some initial thoughts: What people share on CT and what they really think irl can be exactly opposite. Don’t depend on your timeline (extremely short term) for how to feel about the market and the industry as a whole, it's only for gauging sentiment The timeline was filled with bearish takes short term, while most people I met at Token & Breakpoint were super excited about where crypto is heading. The amount of innovation and new products being built right now is staggering Always remind yourself of the bigger picture - the growth of this space is exponential and is heading from 2T to 10T MC. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - we’re experiencing a generational wealth opportunity. Be optimistic, grateful and appreciate that it's still early. Head-down grinding until 10T comes. Everything in between is noise Big Q4 coming up, with all the CBs easing hard and you know what that means. Summer is over, the time to lock in is now

Don’t feel bad when you miss a lot of opportunities in your space. It just means there are a lot of opportunities in your space. You just need to get better at catching them.

if you post things hard enough on the internet you can change things in the real world. no one believes me when I say that but it's true.

There is no better top or bottom indicator than you taking a screenshot of your Unrealized PNL. Doesn't matter where and how much. The moment you take a screenshot is the moment the market reverses against you. Anyone here will second that statement. 😄

A lot of tradfi investors are the Japanese soldiers fighting on for decades after the Emperor surrendered. And they’re about to realize the war ended long ago.

whenever i look at the global economic situation wondering where it all went wrong, this banger quote always comes to mind "the curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design" fatal conceit req reading imo

The key to success in anything is to bet big when the odds are in your favour. You need to wait until you think the risk/reward is heavily skewed in your direction and go all in. The rest of the time should be spent learning the skills needed to identify these opportunities.

most difficult part of trading crypto is remaining interested in finding new opportunities when the larger echo chamber is useless, this is when you make all of your money

thought experiment AI clearly helps people build more with less — less capital and less time Meaning a good amount of new startups in the future likely won't require VC funding except as a nice to have so VC markets will get much more competitive and only the true value add ones will remain or angel rounds with friends will become much more popular

I wouldn’t let the last few months get to you if you’ve had a bad time in the markets. You’re going to get another chance soon enough. When? Not sure but I’d guess before the end of the year. For now you’ve got to be curious. Take the flat market to experiment with new products and new protocols. Preferably find those that have been around and continued to ship, reinvent and build a strong and loyal user base. On top of this look at under appreciated new releases that may be struggling to get their word out there. People like to buy in when fundamentals aka price action kicks in. Price always precedes narrative. And then we reverse engineer a narrative to suit our confirmation bias. There are so many diamonds out there which are drastically overlooked. The market is (and has been) extremely irrational. I’d imagine a strong, equal-and-opposite reaction to the more fundamental based assets. People will still gamble but the arena will change. Pump won’t be it (if you’re wonderi…
