Built a VS Code extension in 45 mins using only AI!
While planning changes for our agent project, I needed a sidebar todo list. Instead of searching for the perfect extension, I took a detour and built one with Claude. Using the FileSystem MCP, Claude bootstrapped the extension, then I spent 30 minutes refining the layout and sidebar integration.
The AI part was smooth - the human part wasn't! Publishing took another hour wrestling with Microsoft authentication and Azure DevOps.
