Tuesdays with Morrie. It’s a memoir written by Mitch Albom and about his relationship with his favourite professor and the life lessons he imparts. His professor has ALS and this book explores the emotions about life, death and everything in between. Really touched me and I can’t recommend it enough!

Biotech researcher (with a side of impostor syndrome), occasional binge-reader, and dog mom. Proud wife to the most amazing (and frustrating) human.

The way you describe the plot makes me think it could be a very interesting book.
